Problems with editing

Once I had learnt to edit my film on final cut pro, I did still come across a few problems whilst editing my film. One of the problems I faced a few times was what you would think was rather simple, which was placing my filmed shots into final cut pro, but after being shown on a number of occasions I got to grips with it. Another common problem I faced was adding effects in, however they did not always work, therefore I had to manually put them in which was time consuming. In addition to this I had a few problems with my credits as at first I did not know how to change the size of it, therefore it was creating a problem as it would block things, yet again once being shown how to change the size I did so. Then the final problem I had was changing the lighting in some shots.
