Nicole was born on the 20th of July 1967; she's an Australian actress and film producer. Her career started in 1983, however her breakthrough came in 1989 in a thriller movie Dead Calm.After starring in a number of films in the early 1990s, her reputation grew for her performances in Days of Thunder, Batman, and Far and Away. In 2001 she claimed a second golden globe award and a first academy award nomination for best actress, due to her performance in Moulin Rouge. Throughout her acting career she has now featured in a number of films, and has also taken on the role of Goodwill ambassador for UNICEF since 1994. Kidman is the highest paid actress in the motion picture industry.
