James Cameron was born on the 16th of August 1954. James is a Canadian film producer, screen writer, and editor. His first success was his the film The Terminator in 1984, this led him on to become a famous Hollywood director. Cameron soon tried filming the biggest of its time, Titanic in 1997, this claimed 3 academy awards. After this James spent a 10 year project on his next blockbuster film, Avatar. Besides film James also helped develop the use of 3-D fusion camera system and is often considered as part scientist and part artist. Overall Cameron's films are believed to be grossed at 6 billion dollars worldwide, in which Avatar and Titanic are both the most grossed films in history.
